Leap Day


29th February is a Leap Day, meaning an extra day that is inserted into the calendar in order to keep the calendar year synchronised with the astronomical or seasonal year. Trivia: Number: 146097: the Gregorian calendar is based on a cycle of 400 years, which comprises 146097 days. Since 146097 is evenly divisible by 7, the Gregorian civil calendar exactly repeats after 400 years.
